That's ancient history now

How long has this town of ours been abandoned? All I ever see these days are rusted railroad tracks bent out of shape, curled back at me, almost taunting any misfortune I may have.
When was the last time I saw the sky? The real sky, not this artificial stuff that's so gray. It has no emotion. If people here knew how to kill themselves, I think they would.
But right now that's not important. I don't know what I did, but I did something to piss this guy off. This guy I don't even know. Just standing there, yelling at me, constantly having to re-adjust his glasses so that they won't fall off his ever-changin

You Really Are Crazy You Know?It was an odd time to be out. Four o'clock sunday morning. But they were out there. Lenny and Stephanie, sitting side by side on a park bench, talking about nothing. Some would call it romantic. Some would call it weird. The rest wouldn't care, since it was four in the Goddamned morning and they had work at six.

"So anyways, I was thinking about something yesterday, and I wanted to ask you about it." Lenny had a habit of either forgetting things, or putting things off, pretending to forget them.

The Beginning-The EndIt all happens in quick bursts. You wake up, turn on the t.v. Maybe watch some Montel.
Then in five minutes, it all goes to shit. "Pack up your things, we're being evicted."
Your mother, the woman you don't respect. Your father, the man you despise. The only son (you), the child you're unsure about.
Within a week, everything you own is in a box. You haven't showered or slept in days.
You hear yelling, screaming, fighting. Three liquor bottles are empty. They weren't before.
Your father calls you upstairs. You get The Beginning-The End

It Must Be Spring Time>Bedroom
You are in the bedroom. A very bland, empty room containing only a small bed and an open closet. The light reflects off of the walls, making them look yellow instead of white.
I keep reminding myself that I don't live here. I'm only visiting. Next to me are three small children huddled together in a corner, talking to one another in quiet, hushed tones. Despite their totally different ethnicity (they were Mexican. I was white), these were my siblings. Half-siblings, to be exact, but still family.

High Time for a HighwayIt’s a Wilco morning as I speed down the highway, picking a point on that luminescent horizon beyond the dashboard of my mom’s ‘65 cerulean blue El Camino. I swear I have that album memorized as I serenade that hula girl you bought me on a whim when we were happy, but didn’t know any better. She still makes me smile. I still think of you.

I think I may be crazy

Okay, I had this really weird dream last night, maybe someone out there can try and piece together this mess:

Some friends and I went to go see a movie. We had no idea what we wanted to see though. While we were deciding, I started following this family around. They were all dressed well (the father and son wore tuxedos, and the mother wore a red dress), and the son was carrying a bouquet of flowers. The son then announced, to no one in particular, that he was going to give those flowers to the first person who saw his movie (I guess he was in a film). But before he could finish his statement, someone ran up and snatched the flowers, leaving the family to stand there, looking completely clueless.

I then began to leave, when a guy came up to me and claimed that he was from an alternate timeline. He also said that me and some girl I had never met were his parents.

Then the family (from earlier) and I, along with my son from an alternate timeline and my friends jumped into a bunch of ships and started shooting at aliens, like it was a horizontal shooter.

We kept shooting until we reached the boss: the front of a stage at a King Diamond concert. We were all shooting and using our bombs on the thing until I ran out of ammo. Then the battle stopped when someone grabbed the mic and said, "TURN OFF THE DAMN MUSIC!"

I told you it was weird.
